Responsibility

Operations:

• Fully responsible for the Maldives unit operations, including P&L and performance.
• Staff recruitment, team building, and expanding the customer base.
• Implement and manage procedures for order-taking, processing, deliveries, and warehouse controls.
• Oversee daily accounting tasks, including accounts receivables, payables, and banking.
• Regularly report to the General Manager, based in Seychelles.

Sales:

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of customers. (HORECA, local, and potential)
• Schedule daily customer visits to build relationships and generate business.
• Prepare quotations, follow up, and convert leads into sales.
• Coordinate with the General Manager for monthly stock imports and stock portfolio management.
• Decide on the range of products to maintain in stock to meet customer demands.

Knowledge:

• In-depth knowledge of crockery, cutlery, glassware, tableware, and other non-food requirements of HORECA customers.
• Hands-on experience in a similar sales and operations role.
• Proficiency in POS/Inventory/CRM software.
• Strong team-building, training, and delegation skills.
• Expertise in managing the daily operations of a distribution company.

Requirements

• Graduate with a degree in Sales, Accounts, or Supply Chain Management. (or substantial hands-on experience)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales of crockery, cutlery, and tableware to HORECA.
• Proven ability to build, train, and manage a team effectively.
• Strong operational management experience in a distribution company.

Terms & Conditions

• 2 years, renewable based on performance.
